A shiver just went down my spine, so nice.
I'd like to make the world listen to this awesome masterwork.
Your characteristical style is irreconcilable!

Nice to hear something where everythings doubtless and light and free. Relaxation for my mind.
Also your characteristical style makes me used to like it.
It's aaaall right - after listening to this my heartbeat slowed down to half because of chilling ;)
Great work!

This is very chilling, man, but Ithink this is a WIP if you've just done it.
Give the vocal more presence and it sounds a bit too dry so try fix it some with rev/del.
And I understand why you took the sample: Take me away from here =D

At the beginning I thought It's just layering of the original with some kicks and stuff but you're right with messy and the first bassline (01:09) sounded some incoherent to me, but I fastly felt into it.
I'm a bit dissappointed from the part in the middle (02:46), thats just layering.
You should have made an independent song with the material after 4:16, thats just awesome!
Let's see what comes next, because that was a pretty good start

Skullfy responds:

Thanks!! :)

Ok, I could find the recurrent theme in it, but this is definitely ambient Jazzstep =D
But after 2:46 or so it was just filthy! Nice, didn't expect that!

Kaskrin responds:

Yea it is kind of jazzy, never thought of it haha. Thanks man!

Hmmm. As a normal listener I'd say Seven Nation Army is exhausted, the original as well as a foundation for a cover.
As a musician I've got to citter some more criticism:
I don't know if this was your intention, but the bass and the drums are getting slower at the end of each pattern, that sounds weird to me.
Or you maybe set the tempo wrong.
Next thing is the melody. Again I don't know if u did it with Intention that you changed the second tone to an A, instead of the original G.
Look it up starting at 00:28
But somehow I liked the beginning despite this all.
So I give you a 2,5; not to be seen as a insult.

Heavily dry, I'm looking for the atmosphere in your song, but the bass is funny ;)
But after explore the feeling of it, it made me nod my head a bit.
You can get out more of this!

This nice'n'heavy, just as I like it, but it somehow reminded me in the beginning of Cheating the Plan by The Biocide.
But as I said, only at the beginning and only somehow =D

But I'm looking forward of more stuff of yours, good job!

Could be seen as a very minimalistic version of ambient dubstep, but it's not my favor.
Is there more of this musictype, so I could draw a line of reference?

Yes, you've reached your aim!
You also successfully threw me out of my sense of rythm at the beginning, very tricky =D
I don't quite know what you've meant by less melody, the structure, the frequency, the melody complexity or the melody volume?
Cause I don't think there's "less" of it :)
But it's a good job you've done!

AliceMako responds:

Hurray then.

Well the initial synth is offkey, due to it's frequency range the beat alters it's rythm :3

I tossed out about half of what i'd recorded with the 303 (squealchy thing in the beginning) so that's not part of the second half after the drop as i found it to be useless clutter.

I took out most of the pads and used only half of the korg rythm section after recording a new pattern for it to add some background hectic to the initial build up of the bassline.

In fairness it's probably not even remotely interesting considering how bombastic said bass is.

Glad you like.

Yes. It's me. I'm using newground since ages, but never signed on, because I didn't have anything to share with you all. But now I'm occupied with Fruity Loops and will make mainly Hardstyle an Dubstep Music (at least i'll try so).
